Wooded Lakehouse Retreat Description
Are you in need of a vacation rental that is close to beaches and activities, but tucked just far enough away from center of all the action? With enough room for 12 guests, this secluded retreat can accommodate large and multigenerational families, as well as friend groups and reunion getaways.
Guests can choose between five cozy, curated bedrooms: three on the main level, and two on the lower level. Bathrooms aren't an issue either – with a newly renovated full bathroom located on each floor, getting ready in the mornings will be a breeze! When it's time to plan out the day's activities as a group, you can convene on the sectional sofa in the comfy lower level living room or in the sun porch on the main level, overlooking the spacious backyard. The lower level is also a great place to wind down at the end of the day with a movie, or to host a game night with board games, two arcade games, darts and basketball. The kids in your group will also be sure to love the whimsical play area located outdoors.
When it's time to prepare a meal, you'll be sure to enjoy a well appointed kitchen that has been stocked with everything needed to prepare a gourmet feast. Attached to the kitchen, is a large seating area with an additional prep sink and island seating for four. In the attached living space, there is a large dining table with room for up to eight!
While the interior is comfortable and spacious, you'll probably be dying to get outside and enjoy nature. The grassy, beautifully landscaped back and side yards are huge. Gather around the tranquil outdoor fire pit space under the stairs for conversation and marshmallow roasting or relax and enjoy the total privacy of this backyard patio space with seating for eight.
This home has quick access to Highway I-196, and is a short drive to the North Shore Drive exit (Exit 22). Since the West side of the property does run in line with the highway, there is some vehicle noise that can be heard from the exterior of the home. However, this noise can not be heard from the interior of the home.
